Our next Westie’s Besties feature is here, and we’re thrilled to welcome Blake Knoll back to his dancing roots! Originally from Durango and now a standout in the Denver scene, Blake is coming home to share his expertise as our guest teacher for April.

About the event
Blake Knoll brings a unique blend of technical precision and effortless musicality to West Coast Swing, with a style rooted in deep connection. From his early days on the wood floors of the Wild Horse Saloon here in Durango to competing at the Advanced level across the country, his journey is a true homecoming to the roots of his dance.
Now based in Denver and a regular instructor at the Avalon and the Stampede, Blake has built a reputation for dancing that "breathes" with the music. With recent 1st place finishes at Swing City Chicago and Atlanta Swing Classic, he is known for his incredible isolations and a teaching philosophy—Influenced by The Inner Game of Tennis and Physics Education Research,—that helps dancers discover breakthroughs that feel natural and earned.
