The Durango Collective is a community event and movement space located in downtown Durango. It is operated by West Slope Westies to support our nonprofit mission while also serving the broader community as a flexible venue for gatherings, celebrations, and events.
How West Slope Westies and The Durango Collective Are Connected
West Slope Westies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building an inclusive dance community through education, social connection, and accessible movement experiences.
The Durango Collective is the physical space where much of that mission comes to life. It serves as the home studio for West Slope Westies programming and is also available for community rentals, private events, and collaborations that align with our values.
While the two names serve different purposes, they are closely connected:

• The Durango Collective is the space that supports and sustains that community
Revenue generated through The Durango Collective helps offset operating costs and supports the long-term sustainability of West Slope Westies and its programming.
What Happens at The Durango Collective
The Durango Collective hosts a wide range of activity, including:
