Durango Lodge
Opposite the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum, this modern lodge is 2 blocks from Main Street and a 9-minute walk from the Animas River.
Straightforward rooms all include minifridges and coffeemakers, and have TVs and free Wi-Fi. Some also have balconies.
Continental breakfast and parking are complimentary. There's a seasonal outdoor pool and a hot tub.
General Palmer Hotel
Offering views of the San Juan Mountains, this refined hotel dating from 1898 lies close to restaurants and shops, and a block from the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum.
The Victorian-style, antiques-filled rooms and suites offer free Wi-Fi and cable TV, as well as coffeemakers.
Complimentary amenities include parking, freshly baked cookies and continental breakfast.
