Service Description
Short on time but want to dance? Our Crash Course is designed to get you moving on the floor in a single session. We cover the core rhythm and basic patterns of West Coast Swing so you can stay for the social dance immediately following the lesson! When: Every Friday Night Cost: $20 (Covers the lesson + the Social Dance) Level: Absolute Beginner Friendly – No partner or experience required! Register online to secure your spot. Note: This is a single-session class and is not part of our Wednesday progressive series. Lead, Follow, and Inclusivity: West Coast Swing is a social dance where roles are not tied to gender. The Fine Print: No Partner Needed: We rotate partners during class to build social connection and better technique. Age & Eligibility: Participants must be 18+. (For younger teens, please email us regarding our minor policy). No Roll-Forwards: Please see our "No Roll-Forward" policy regarding absences; missed classes cannot be credited to future months. Cancellation Policy
West Slope Westies Booking & Refund Policy Online Booking Cutoff: Online registration closes 5 minutes prior to the start of class. If you miss this window, please see a volunteer at the check-in desk to be manually added to the roster (subject to space availability). Series Registration: Cancellations and refunds are available until 24 hours before the first class of the series begins. After this point, we cannot offer refunds, "roll-overs," or credits to future series. Missing a class in a series does not entitle the participant to a partial refund. Drop-In Classes: Non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you may reschedule your class online, or, please contact us 24 hours in advance to reschedule your drop-in credit to a different date within the same month. Attendance: For Series Classes, consistent attendance is key. If you know you will miss a "Basics" class, we highly recommend deferring to a future series to ensure you have the foundation needed for the group. Volunteer-Run: We are a small non-profit 501(c)3. Your registration fee directly supports our venue and community costs. Thank you for your support!
